The national broadcaster for Armenia, AMPTV, has been given a fine by the EBU. This is in response to their late withdrawal from the 2012 contest. Armenia claimed that the safety of their delegation could not be assured by Azerbaijan. The fine will be the normal participation fee plus 50%. AMPTV must also broadcast all three shows without breaks. If they fail to do so they could be banned by the EBU from future contests.
