Poli Genova to represent Bulgaria in Eurovision 2011

Bulgaria's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was held today in Sofia. Poli Genova won the honour to represent the Balkan country in Düsseldorf. Her song Na inat was announced as the winner by the head of the 'Academy'.
Bulgaria decided to change the format of their national selection as they wish to improve their result at the Eurovision Song Contest. A so called 'Academy' consisting of several well-known professionals involved in the local music business decided the Bulgarian representative in Düsseldorf.

Poli Genova won tonight's Bulgarian national final with her song Na inat. She will represent her country at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest and will perform in the second semi final of the competition.

Nineteen acts competed in tonight's show and the winner was selected through a combination of public's opinion (tele voting) and jury's choice (the Academy).

As it was expected, this year's Romanian representatives Hotel FM premiered the revamped version of their entry Change during the interval act.
