Paula Seling & Ovi con Playing with fire se ha impuesto a la gran favorita Luminita Anghel y representará a Rumanía en el próximo Festival de Oslo. Ganaron la final de Selecţia Naţională 2010, en la que 16 candidaturas competían por representar al país en la capital noruega. Tanto los jurados regionales (Craiova, Timişoara, Iaşi, Clui y Bucharest) como el televoto se decantaron por la candidatura finalmente vencedora.
Paula Seling ya participó en las preselecciones de 1998, 2003, 2004 y 2008, mientras que Ovi había hecho lo propio en el Melodi Grand Prix noruego en 2009. Luminita Anghel con Tony Tomas & Adrian Piper no han podido alcanzar el pasaporte a Eurovisión.
